Introduction
This slideshow addresses engineering design considerations. An
architect should be familiar with the basic engineering considerations
of a metal building system. While the metal building company will
provide the sealed structural drawings, a working knowledge of the
basics will benefit the designer and prevent him or her from creating a
design beyond the practical limits of the technology or specifying codes
that are incorrect. This section will cover codes, standards, and the
basics of Engineering Design Considerations with which an architect
should be familiar
